My Bio
Well - My name is Jack Pemberton and I make cool stuff...'simples' as the meerkat says.

On a serious note I aim to make realistic props and replicas, mostly around movies and video games and here is a little history on how this came about.

I have always been creative in some way and when I was twelve my mother sent me on a prop makers course at a local university during the summer term to keep me busy. Naturally I took to it very well and subsequently have been making various bits and pieces ever since. It wasn't until 11 years later (at the grand old age of 23) that I began to make more 'serious' and higher quality props.

It really started when I began making a Halloween costume for myself. It took about a month and during this time I had a number of extra skills under my belt.

It turned out way better than I had first thought and I even won a few costume contests online (under the 'pro' sections would you believe - I cant!). At this point I had an 'ah-hah' moment where I realised that this is ultimately what I was born to do.

Most of my props and replicas are built using various techniques in my garage at home. It's something I really enjoy and I hope that you enjoy the fruits of my labor as it were!

First up would be Paper mache - The most basics of basics (but one of the best). People often turn their nose up at my work when they realise that the structure of the object has been made from paper mache. Yes there are more 'professional' ways of doing things, but when your on a budget and the surface is to be covered anyway, I think it's a no brainer. It's what we all learnt to do when we were young and I think its som
